From power generation to electric vehicles, from smart grids to industrial automation, electrical engineers are at the heart of the nation's growth and self-reliance.At Government Polytechnic Madhepura, our mission is not just to teach, but to transform. We believe in creating competent, skilled, and disciplined diploma engineers who are ready for industry, ready for entrepreneurship, and ready for higher learning. Our department is equipped with well-maintained laboratories, experienced faculty, and a practical-oriented teaching approach that strictly follows the curriculum of SBTE, Bihar, while also going beyond syllabus to make students industry-ready. We focus strongly on hands-on training, industrial visits, internships, and skill development programs. In the era of Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicles, we are upgrading our labs and introducing add-on courses on Solar Technology, PLC-SCADA, House Wiring, Electrical Maintenance, and MATLAB to enhance employability of our students.To my dear students - I want to convey that a diploma in Electrical Engineering opens countless doors for you. Whether it is a job in Government sectors like Bihar State Power Holding Company Ltd., Railways, NTPC, PGCIL, or in private core industries, or your dream of starting your own electrical contracting business, this department will always stand with you.
