Excellence Awards at Government Polytechnic Madhepura
Government Polytechnic Madhepura promotes a culture of academic excellence and professional excellence through recognition of meritorious students and outstanding teachers.
Meritorious Students Encouragement Award
The institute recognizes academic achievers through the “Meritorious Students Encouragement Award” to motivate students towards consistent and excellent performance. The top three students from each branch are recognized at the institutional level, subject to prescribed eligibility conditions such as no backlog/carry paper and minimum 80% attendance. Merit is assessed on the performance of the relevant two semesters for First, Second and Third Year students.
Best Teacher of the Year Award
The State Board of Technical Education, Bihar (SBTE) has instituted the “Best Teacher of the Year Award” to recognize outstanding faculty members of Polytechnic Institutions. The award acknowledges excellence in teaching-learning, student mentoring, innovation, outreach, research and institutional contributions. The evaluation gives major emphasis to Teaching-Learning Effectiveness (80%), along with Outreach Activities (10%), Research & Innovation (5%), and Sponsored Research/Faculty Development Programmes (5%). The award includes a medal, certificate, laptop and cash prize for the first three positions.
🏆 State-Level Academic Achievement
Lakshya – Electrical Engineering, Government Polytechnic Madhepura – secured 1st Position at the State Level with 86.31% aggregate marks and 9.38 CGPA under the Meritorious Student Encouragement Award.
